Murji Rabadia, was born in a small village in Gujarat, India, where computers, phone and technology was non existent. At the age of 10, he moved to Nairobi, Kenya, where he finished his high-school. He later moved to Florida and completed his bachelors in Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University.
Computers had always been his interest, but more than that was his passion to be an entrepreneur. It started off as a small business from his room in Boca, and spent most of his weekends handing out flyers at malls and shopping centers. Getting the first call from a customer was the most exciting. With more calls coming in, the need for a small office became apparent. Unable to afford the high rent, he finally settled with the smallest office he could find in Pompano Beach. His honesty and hard work became recognized and his client base expanded purely on a referral basis.
Murji currently runs a computer store in Delray Beach. The most encouraging aspect about his business is looking back at where he started from and meeting all the incredible people who pushed him through his journey.
“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.”
